The 2016 model of the Camaro got some rave reviews but anyone was lucky enough to be able to test drive the car noticed one glaring issue – it has a significant blind spot!
Chevrolet are competing head-on with the new Ford Mustang here so they have to get this issue sorted out.
This is not a cosmetic issue but one of safety and Chevrolet were made aware of it in the hopes that the issue would be addressed before the Camaro officially goes on sale sometime early next year.
The exterior design of the car, which focuses on speed and greater dynamics, has been greatly improved but so far, Chevrolet has not commented on whether the blind spot issue has been addressed already or not.
At this point, it probably won’t be until models start rolling off the assembly line that we’ll know if Chevrolet did manage to implement a fix. Car safety is definitely a concern Chevrolet has in general, so in all likelihood, there will be a fix.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be made available for pre-ordering starting this month or next month at the latest. No pricing details have been given yet.
